Lead Elder

Our lead Elder, Stephen Best, along with his wife Cindy, have been involved in the leadership of our Church for more than thirty years. Their roots are in the Peterborough area, and they have an enduring love for it and its people. It is Stephen’s desire to see a growing Holy Spirit- filled community of believers that is rooted in New Testament practice, reaching Peterborough and the nation of Canada. As the lead Elder at River Run, Stephen takes particular responsibility in the overall vision of the church, and while he is currently our sole elder, additional Elders are currently being developed to help lead the church.
