What To Expect

Visiting churches can be awkward.  At River Run Fellowship we try to keep it friendly, creative, and down-to-earth.  You will find that we are a warm and accepting church family ready to meet you, and to make your visit enjoyable.

Upon visiting River Run Fellowship you will see that worshiping Jesus is at the heart of everything we do.  You will also notice that we are untraditional in our worship in that we do not have pews or hymnbooks, and that our gatherings involve interactive worship, punctuated with spontaneous praise, prayer, and spiritual gifts.

Similarly you will see that our ministry expressions are simple, purposeful, and timely.  Like worship, we place a high value on the church being relational and not on being an organization, institution, program or building.  We genuinely believe that a worshiping and serving community, where every believer deeply loves Christ and is equipped and called to minister, is the most powerful thing the church can do.

Sunday Meetings:

Sunday’s usually begin with singing songs of worship led by a responsive band.  Some people from our fellowship will contribute to the service by offering words of encouragement, a prayer or a spiritual gift.  The children who begin in the service will generally leave during or after the worship for a full range of activities.  A practical teaching or message from the Bible regularly follows worship. In response to the message, there is often an opportunity to receive prayer. However depending on the leading of the Holy Spirit, all this might change.

Also during the service, members of River Run will have an opportunity to give money toward an offering for the ongoing ministry of the church, please do not feel obliged to contribute.
