What We Believe

We believe in:

• One living God who lives eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit in perfect unity.
• The inspiration and the authority of the Bible – the written Word of God, on all matters of faith and practice.
• The divinity of Jesus Christ: in a virgin birth, a sinless life, an atoning death, a victorious resurrection, a sovereign ascension, an abiding presence, a triumphant return, and an eternal reign.
• Male and female were made in God’s image to love, and bring him glory, yet were corrupted by sin through Adam’s fall.
• Mankind’s inherent sinful nature and thus the necessity of repentance and faith in Christ.
• The baptism of believers by immersion in water.
• The baptism of the Holy Spirit.
• The Holy Spirit’s present ministry through and in the believer as manifested in the five-fold ministry, the gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, and the overcoming life of the Spirit.
• The security and resurrection of the saved unto eternal life, and the lost unto eternal punishment.
• The ongoing ministry of making disciples of all nations and teaching them to follow Christ.
• The body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers, the Lord’s Supper, and the laying on of hands for spiritual impartation.
